Creating a new life in me.
Day 1: Background. Where have we come from? Initially we must understand the difference between man and God (remember, "God" is capitalized for a reason). There is the world, and then there is heaven. Do you live for God or for man? Do you live for the world or for heaven? You cannot live for both, they are separate entities, separate places created specifically apart by God at the dawn of creation.
Genesis 1:1-2
'In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. Now the earth was formless and empty, darkness was over the surface of the deep, the spirit of God was hovering over the waters.'
Action Plan: Choose God. Give your day entirely to the Lord. Do nothing but spend time with him, in his word and in conversation and quietness with him. Ask him what he wants in your life, praise him for your creation and for the way you have been wonderfully made. Take the day off and remind yourself that the hang ups on this earth will be temporary but life in heaven is eternal. Transform your stress into worship.
